Only 11 kilometres long and approximately one kilometre wide, Orpheus Island is mostly National Park. Off the coast of Orpheus, you'll find fringing reefs which offer excellent opportunities for snorkelling and scuba diving. There are also several large coral bommies in Little Pioneer Bay, Cattle Bay and around the Yank's Jetty area.

Nautilus Suites: Total of 4. Suites are very spacious offering a huge private patio, separate lounge and bedroom area and personal spa. Bedding is 1 King bed or 2 Single beds are available on request. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults.

How to get to Orpheus Island
To stay at Orpheus Island, you will need to be flown in via a charter plane. Orpheus Island is accessible by launch from Lucinda. Even though it's the only way to get to the resort, no responsibility is taken for any delay incurring expense to their guests.
Charters are also available from other ports & islands, prices vary and you will need to establish these details via application.
You can depart from Townsville and Cairns, in Cairns a connecting flight to Townsville, then a scenic flight transfer across the Great Barrier Reef to Orpheus Island. It is a 30 minute flight from Townsville.
For International guests, two hours are recommended between flight, one
hour for domestic travelers. Guests are to be at the terminal with luggage
40 minutes prior to departure.
Luggage restrictions apply, each guest is allowed 15kg. There is a free
baggage excess storage at Townsville airport.
